Austell Back to School Jam This Saturday

Summer is almost over, and parents and students are getting ready for a new school year. The annual Back to School Jam hosted by the Austell Community Taskforce is scheduled for this Saturday, July 27 at the South Cobb Recreation Center.

This is an opportunity for the South Cobb community, businesses and schools to come together and celebrate the beginning of another successful school year.

In previous school jam events, the taskforce has given out more than 500 backpacks filled with school supplies. This year, there will also be an expo with children activities, entertainment and more than 50 information booths.
