Austell Crash Kills Atlanta Man Who Was Walking In Road
The accident happened shortly before midnight Wednesday near Cityview Drive and Golden Pine Road.
AUSTELL, GA — An Austell crash killed an Atlanta man shortly before midnight Wednesday near Cityview Drive and Golden Pine Road, Cobb County Police said Thursday.
Police identified the man as Troy Bracy, 61. Police said Bracy was walking in the road around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lane of Cityview Drive near the intersection with Golden Pine Road.

An 18-year-old Mableton man was driving a black 2006 GMC Sierra east on Cityview, where the front of the GMC hit Bracy, police said. Bracy died at the scene. The Sierra's driver was not injured.
