Austell CVS Robbed Monday Night

Just after 9 p.m. Monday, two men, both thought to be in their late teens or early- to mid-20s, entered the East-West Connector CVS and demanded money from a female employee.

The Cobb County Police Department is looking for two men who robbed the CVS Pharmacy Monday night and fled the area in a silver sedan.

Just after 9 p.m. Monday, two men, both thought to be in their late teens or early- to mid-20s, entered the East-West Connector CVS and demanded money from a female employee, said Sgt. Dana Pierce, the spokesman for the police department.

One of the suspects, a 6-foot-2 black man with a thin build, was armed with a handgun, Pierce said. He was wearing a gray bombardier style winter hat with ear flaps, a light colored hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, dirty white or tan sneakers, and a dark blue or black paisley patterned bandanna.

The other suspect, a 5-foot-8 black man with a thin build, acted as a lookout, Pierce said. He was not armed. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects took off in the sedan, which investigators believe was parked behind the business. They fled northbound from the area, Pierce said.
