Chuy’s Akers Mill Presents $4K Check To Camp Sunshine
Nonprofit group who works with children battling cancer joins forces with Cobb eatery.
SOUTH COBB, GA -- Chuy’s Akers Mill this week presented Camp Sunshine with a check for $4,310.13 from the restaurant's recent pre-grand opening fundraising.
The funds will go toward the nonprofit organization's efforts to continue to provide recreational and educational programs for children battling cancer.
This is the third time Chuy's has partnered with the organization on a grand opening in Georgia.

To serve the South Cobb area, the Akers Mill Square, known for it "Fully-Loaded Nacho Car," went on a hiring binge at the first of the year right before it opened. The eatery joins a slew of new restaurants along the Cumberland corridor a short drive away from the new Atlanta Braves ballpark.
