Cobb County Police Plans Community Meeting Tuesday Night

Officers will be on hand at South Cobb Regional Library to discuss how to "bridge the gap" between residents and the force.

SOUTH COBB, GA -- The Cobb County Police Department is inviting residents to come out Tuesday night to learn about crime in the neighborhood and talk about it.

The informal meeting at South Cobb Regional Library will begin at 7 p.m. and is intended to "bridge the gap" between the community and officers, according to a PENS (Police Email Notification System) description.

"Join us to discuss any and all crime concerns you may have. Great opportunity to meet your local police and learn about crime in your neighborhood," the department said in a Facebook post.
