Cobb Police: Avoid Entrance Ramp to I-285 South
Just after 11 a.m., the driver of a tractor-trailer was northbound on South Cobb Drive. While turning left to go south on I-285, his load shifted and his tractor-trailer overturned.
The entrance ramp to Interstate 285 southbound from South Cobb Drive is closed due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
"We are advising all drivers to avoid the area for the next 45 minutes," Officer Mike Bowman with the Cobb County Police Department told Patch just before 12:15 p.m. today.

No one was injured and no one else was involved in the accident, Bowman said.
"They have transferred the load to another truck," he said.

The Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia State Patrol are on the scene. The GSP will conduct an inspection to see if there are any violations against the driver or the truck.
