Cobb School Shooting Injures Juvenile, Triggers Lockdown
The all-clear was given at Lindley Middle School, where a juvenile was injured in a shooting Wednesday.
MABLETON, GA — The all-clear at has been given at Lindley Middle School after a shooting that injured a juvenile prompted a lockdown at the campus Wednesday, Cobb County Police said.
Police did not release the status or identity of the juvenile. Police also did not say what led to the shooting or if a suspect has been taken into custody.
"We are working closely with the Cobb County School Police and will provide updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation and patience during this time," police said.

After the shooting, police said the campus was immediately secured.
Parents can reunite with their students at Leland United Methodist Church, located at 81 Veterans Memorial Highway.

Cobb County Police, in partnership with Cobb County School Police, are investigating the shooting.
