Girl Scout Summer Badge Workshop

Troop 7984 is hosting two weeks of educational fun at Clinton Nature Preserve.  The first week is June 6^th through 10^th from 9am until 3pm.  The theme for this week is Water, Water, Everywhere.  All the girls will be working on everything to do with water as well as fun in the water.  We will not have swimming just a 14 foot water slide and water games.  June 27^th through July 1^st from 9am until 4pm is our Pioneer and Native American Indian days.  This is going to be a week of an amazing journey as we travel back in time.  The girls will get to paint a live horse and learn why the native Americans did this.  They will also be taken down the trail of tears by a wonderful Native American Story teller.  We will have many arts/crafts as well as hiking, fishing, survival knot tying and so much more.  There are still openings in our badge workshop but you need to let me know right away if you are interested.

This Saturday, June 4^th we will be holding a meet and greet from 9am until 4pm.  This will be the last opportunity to sign up for our first week.  Feel free to email or call me with any questions you may have.  The address for the workshop will be 8720 Ephesus Church Road, VR, GA  30180.  Upon entering the park you  will travel passed the playground to the white farmhouse on the left.  This will be our main point as well as drop off and pickup.

Never fear if you are in need of early and late pickup Winston Academy has partnered with us to provide this service for $25.00 a week per child.  You will have to see Angie at Winston in order to sign them up.  We will only be registering for the workshop and not the before and after care.

All girls beginning K5 this year through 5^th grade are eligible for the workshop.  They do not have to be registered Girl Scouts at the time of the badge workshop registration.  That is included.

$100.00 (week of the workshop)

$7.00 (mandatory 1 t-shirt) extras are available for purchase.  T-shirts are the same for each week.
