UPDATE: Roaches Found in Oil of One Mableton Restaurant
Take a look at the restaurants, schools and hotel inspected in this week's food scores.
UPDATE July 9 at 5 a.m.
China Restaurant in Mableton did not pass its recent health inspection on June 19.
According to the report from the Cobb & Douglas Public Health Department, the restaurant did not have proper cooling time and temperature for potentially hazardous foods and foods weren't received at proper temperatures.
The CDPH inspector also did not observe that foods were separated and protected from contamination.

Dead roaches were found in the garlic and oil, according to the report.

China Restaurant received a score of 80, which is a B grade, during its last inspection in October.
A follow-up should have been conducted by July 3. South Cobb Patch will update this story with the new score the restaurant received on its follow-up inspection.
