First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is now accepting applications for the 2026 cohort of its Epiphany program, a faith-based social entrepreneurship incubator supporting startups tackling today’s most pressing challenges. Epiphany is an evergreen initiative that equips entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to social issues with funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance. If you are an emerging founder with a vision to address societal challenges often overlooked by traditional markets, Epiphany offers the resources needed to help your venture grow. Examples of qualifying ventures include businesses that employ formerly incarcerated individuals or adults with developmental challenges, as well as enterprises offering services such as coding training for refugees or mechanical skills development in low-income communities. Since its launch, Epiphany has awarded nearly half a million dollars in grants and supported multiple successful ventures, including Refuge Coffee Co., PadSplit, and Purposeful Gourmet Foods. Modeled in part after the format of Shark Tank, the program provides early-stage entrepreneurs with capital, mentorship, and access to a network focused on impact areas such as hunger, homelessness, housing, refugee resettlement, racial equity, poverty, healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability. SOUTH COBB, GA -- With Monday being the first day of spring, it means that Georgians, for the most part, can finally put away those winter coats. It also means something else: free treats. In honor of the first day of spring, Rita's is giving away free Italian ice and Dairy Queen is offering free ice cream across the United States. All you have to do is visit our closest Rita's or Dairy Queen and you can pick up the goods, one per visitor. Dairy Queen is encouraging customers to donate to the Children's Miracle Network. Because their treats are literally cool, Rita's is asking patrons to share a photo of their "cool treat" and share it on social media for the chance to win freebies for a year.
