Cobb needs a staff auditor.

The job functions include:

• Plans, performs and reports on the financial and operational activities of the County operations to include: developing the intended purpose of the audit, developing the plan of action for the audit, and conducting the audit activities.

• Plans, directs, and administers the activities covering internal and external audits. Approves recommendations and/or corrective actions.

• Conducts internal service reviews to evaluate the efficiency of County service operations.

• Conducts management and operational evaluations of a variety of County department and divisions in order to measure their efficiency and effectiveness.

• Monitors and reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance; provides recommendations for policy and procedure change as indicated.
