Linda Grace Snell Sells of Mableton Passes Away

Friends and family can visit the late Linda Sells on Sunday, and her funeral will be held Monday.

Linda Grace Snell Sells, age 68, of Villa Rica, formerly of Mableton, passed away on Friday, April 27 at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell.

She was born to John Victor Snell and Julia Velera Cochran Snell on November 3, 1943 in Atlanta. After high school, she married the love of her life, Leon Edward Sells. They had two beautiful children, Donna and Connie.

She was a beloved member of for many years. She retired in 2006 from Resurgens Orthopaedics after 23 years of dedicated service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Snell. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Leon Edward Sells; daughters, Donna Sells of Villa Rica and Connie Sells Smith of Douglasville; sister, Geneva Webb Barnes and her husband Roy of Mableton; grandchildren, Michelle Bennett, Kyle Smith, and Kara Smith; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Bennett.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 29, from2-4 p.m.  and 6-8 p.m. at in Mableton. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 30, with Rev. Eddie Barton and Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at River View Memorial Park.
