Mableton Man Among Deal Appointees
Patrick M. Healy was one of three Cobb County residents Deal picked to serve on various state boards.
Gov. Nathan Deal recently appointed three Cobb County residents to various state boards, and one of them is from Mableton.
Patrick M. Healy, the chairman, chief executive officer and president of Peach State Health Plan, a Georgia Medicaid CMO, was appointed to the Joint Study Committee on Medicaid Reform, according to a release from the governor's office.
That committee will study current Medicaid policies and procedures and determine if current programs are being implemented in the most efficient and effective manner.
Other Cobb County residents tapped to join state boards include:
- Dianne Wolfe Patterson of Northeast Cobb. Patterson was appointed to the State Board of Nursing Home Administrators.
- Charles R. McMurtrey Jr. of Marietta. McMurtrey was reappointed to the State Construction Industry Licensing Board's Division of Low Voltage Contractors.
