According to news reports, Anthony Antonio Norman, 41, allegedly requested to be Facebook “friends” with the 15-year-old girl and told her he was 25. Last summer, he asked for her address so that he could meet her, according to an arrest warrant the AJC obtained.

The warrant states that Norman allegedly forced his way into her home and raped her on the foyer rug.

Smyrna police said a DNA test will be conducted once the baby is born to determine if Norman is the child’s father.

Norman told the teen’s mother he would care for the child if it is his, the warrant states.

Norman was arrested on May 21 at his home in DeKalb County near Decatur, and remains in Cobb County Jail.

He has been charged with rape, statutory rape, child molestation, cruelty to children and sexual exploitation of children.

South Cobb Patch is obtaining details about Norman's prior arrests and will update the story when details become available.
