Renters rights summit

Cobb county does not have subsidized housing and mostly black families are being evicted and mostly black and brown families are living in substandard housing.
To maintain decent and safe housing in Cobb county you must have a household income of at least $50,000 a year
In some cases you are able to find independent landlords in private rentals or apartment complexes that will rent to you but most of those locations are older and have a lot maintenance neglect that’s why my organization We Thrive on Riverside Renters Association is hosting a renters rights summit on Saturday October 12th at Antioch Loving Sprit 6280 Britt Road Mableton Georgia

Training program to get specialized certification for all adults and your youth and have career fairs
In some cases if you are in their program they funds to help with rental, gas, childcare and have specialized programs for youth age 16 to 24
