Rep. Morgan and Pastor Purvis Seeking Election as DNC Delegates
Rep. Alisha Morgan and her pastor are seeking election as delegates for this year's Democratic National Convention.

Rep. Alisha Morgan (D-Austell) and her pastor, Wilbur Purvis of Destiny World Church in Austell are seeking election as two of the seven delegates representing Georgia's 13th District Congressional delegates at the Democratic National Convention, which will be held Sept. 4-6 in Charlotte, NC.
The election takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Banneker High School at 5935 Feldwood Road in College Park.
Participation in Georgia's delegate selection process is open to all voters who wish to participate as Democrats.

Those who did not pre-register to vote in the delegate election are still welcome to participate and will be given instructions upon arrival.
Following registration, voters will be treated to brunch and entertainment. After brunch, voting will commence with speeches given by each candidate. Once all speeches come to an end, voters will have the opportunity to cast their votes.

Lastly, please remember, you must bring your personal identification on the day of the vote. Only registered voters at least 18 years of age who reside in the 13th Congressional District will be allowed to vote.
