South Cobb Redevelopment Authority Meets Monday
The board plans to discuss the website for the SCRA and the South Cobb Implementation Strategy.
The South Cobb Redevelopment Authority, the governing body serving the Mableton and Six Flags area, will hold its July meeting on Monday at 9 a.m. at the at 4700 Austell Road.
They will have a public comment period to allow South Cobb citizens to express concerns or pose questions to the board about South Cobb issues.
The board will discuss joint SCRA and Board of Commissioners' meeting dates, as well as an update on the board's website, which will include information about the South Cobb Implementation Strategy.

Additionally, the board will hear an update on the Urban Land Institute Technical Assistance Panel, a panel composed of engineers, bankers, lawyers and others who are assessing the redevelopment potential of South Cobb.
The panel will compose a report of their findings and research, and the report will be made public once it is reviewed by internal Cobb staff, explained Cobb Economic Development Director Michael Hughes.
