Teen Charged In Cobb School Parking Lot Shooting That Injured 2
The Powder Springs shooting was the result of a dispute with a student though police say no students were injured in the shooting.
POWDER SPRINGS, GA — A 17-year-old boy is facing charges after police say he shot two people Thursday in the parking lot of McEachern High School while a second suspect is being sought.
Cobb County Police said Friday Scott Foor, of Powder Springs, was arrested Thursday in Union City in connection with the shooting, which was the result of a physical altercation with a McEachern student.
Foor, who witnessed the dispute, was accused of using a pistol to shoot two people who were not McEachern students. Their gunshot wounds were non-threatening, police said.

A second unidentified person engaged in gunfire but did not cause further injuries, police said. This person remains at large.
Foor was charged on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm on school property, police said.

The shooting triggered a code red at McEachern and prompted a shelter-in-place order at the school. It also shut down New Macland Road; however, the school has since been deemed safe.
