Teen Witnesses Dad's Attack in Austell

Teranisha Nicole Posey of Austell was arrested Saturday morning on charges of aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

An Austell woman allegedly slashed a man's left cheek and cursed him out in front of his 14-year-old child.

Between 12:20 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Teranisha Nicole Posey allegedly cut Parrish Printup with a large kitchen knife at a residence in the 400 block of Six Flags Drive, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant. The blade was approximately six inches long, and the laceration caused bleeding from Printup's cheek.

Posey is also accused of using her finger nails during the fight. Authorities said they saw at least two puncture wounds on Printup's left shoulder.

Printup and two other witnesses identified Posey as the attacker, records show.

She was arrested Saturday morning on charges of aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children in the third degree and disorderly conduct. She is being held at the Cobb County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
