“This is an incredibly important event for our community and we hope many people participate,” said Kathy Dugger, chief technologist with Women’s Imaging at WellStar Cobb. “Our patients often tell us how grateful they are that the voucher program is available. If not, women in our community wouldn’t be able to get their mammograms as needed. Also, having funds available if a patient needs to return after her initial visit is important for the patient’s long-term care.”
To register for the event, visit wefightbold.com. Online registration is $35 in advance or $40 in person the morning of the event; there is no charge for children 12 and under.
