Christmas In Park Cancelled for Saturday
Holiday weather has affected another Suwanee event.
The inclement weather has altered another 2013 holiday event in Suwanee.
According to a Facebook post, Day Two of Christmas In The Park has been called off for Saturday evening (Dec. 14).
"The rain has been very hard at times and the park is soaked! Christmas in the Park will be CANCELED for tonight! Sorry!" read the post on the City of Suwanee Facebook page on Saturday, shortly before 1 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Shadowbrook Baptist Church, and was to run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Day One was Friday.
The city's annual Caboose Lighting and Old Town Christmas event is scheduled for Sunday (Dec. 15), 5 p.m. It has been rescheduled from Dec. 6.
