Collins Hill Back in State Soccer Final -- Barely

The Eagles survive Harrison on penalty kicks, and will face Berkmar in the final.

The Collins Hill boys soccer team still has a crown on its head, but it was getting wobbly there for awhile Thursday in Suwanee.

The Eagles, who have been to the past five state title games, needed penalty kicks to defeat Harrison, 2-1, after ending regulation tied at 1 and going through two scoreless five-minute overtime periods.

Eagles goaltender Jackson Taylor stopped a Harrison penalty shot to seal the victory.

It appeared that the Eagles might put the game away in regulation. Paul Ille scored at 25:40 of the second half for a 1-0 lead. But Harrison's Cole Guertin tied the game on a penalty kick at 4:57 to play.
