King of Pops Expands Into Suwanee Farmers Market
Varied vendors and patrons again are coming to Town Center Park in 2013.
The first fair-weather Saturday for the Suwanee Farmers Market in 2013 could've been called "popsicle" weather, which would be appropriate for a first-time vendor at the market.
King of Pops features organic, handmade popsicles with flavors such as Chocolate Seesaw and Coconut Lemongrass.
Founded in 2010 in the Virginia Highlands area of Atlanta, the business has branched out to farmers markets and festivals throughout the metro area. Harvey Daniels, who was manning the cart recently at Town Center Park, said about 10-12 King of Pops carts usually are working on a given weekend, and sometimes as many as 20.

That trip would, as trips tend to do, eventually come to an end, but these three gringos never stopped dreaming of paletas. It became an obsession to bring these delicious fresh-fruit creations back home with them to share with the good people of Atlanta.
The offerings caught the attention of Pamela Jolley and Karen Moody, sisters who visited the market Saturday (see attached photo).
