A Suwanee sports bar is about to get a makeover.
Suwanee Neighborhood Sports Bar and Grill will be the new name for the former Twisted Tavern, located at 105 Horizon Drive. The Suwanee City Council approved the alcoholic beverage license on Tuesday (Dec. 17).
The change should take effect by the end of the year, according to new owner Lucinda Patel.
It's the first restaurant venture for Patel, who owns a telemarketing company. "I love food, I love to cook," she said, explaining her decision to pursue this venture.
She noted that a menu makeover will accompany the new name -- steaks and ribs will be added.
