• Food recalls issued for quiche, sausage and breaded chicken (41nbc.com) — A Suwanee-based company, Suzanna’s Kitchen, is recalling over 62,000 pounds of fully cooked breaded chicken because soy wasn’t listed on the label, posing a risk to people with allergies. The USDA also announced separate national recalls of imported Lorraine Quiche and Olympia Provisions kielbasa sausage. Local residents should check labels and discard or return any affected products.

(usatodayhss.com) — One of the nation’s top high school defensive linemen, Deuce Geralds of Collins Hill in Suwanee, has committed to play college football at LSU as part of the ALL-USA National Football Team selections.
