Robert Maloof Funeral 2 p.m. July 29

The funeral for Robert Maloof of Manuel's Tavern will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, at The Cathedral of Christ the King.

The tavern announced the service Monday on its Facebook page.

Robert Maloof was the uncle of current owner Brian Maloof and the brother of founder and namesake Manuel Maloof.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words. It has been a hard few days of reflection and sorrow around the Manuel's tavern family. The prayers are truly felt and the kind words are a wonderful lift out of sorrow.

Manuel's Tavern will be closed the morning of Monday, July 29 and will reopen at 6 pm for regular business.

The memorial service for Robert Maloof will be held at The Cathedral of Christ the King on Peachtree at 2 pm on July 29. Following the service the family is hosting a gathering of friends at Manuel's.
