3 Charged In Prostitution Bust In Cherokee County
One man was charged with keeping a place of prostitution while two women allegedly committed sex acts at massage parlors.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — Three people were arrested and charged earlier this month in connection to a prostitution operation at two massage parlors in Cherokee County.
Raymond Lee Taylor II of Canton was booked into the Cherokee County Jail on Friday, Dec. 22 on two counts of keeping a place of prostitution, according to jail records. One charge was levied by the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, and the other was brought forth by Holly Springs police, according to court documents.
According to a warrant obtained by Holly Springs police, Taylor "exercised control" over Far East Massage at 6234 Old Highway 5 Suite D-8. Taylor allegedly owned this massage business and utilized the space for "prostitution and masturbation for hire" between July 17 and Dec. 12 of this year.

In the Cherokee Sheriff's Office warrant, Taylor is accused of using Great Wall Spa at 6199 Highway 92 in Acworth to allow employees to "carry out" acts of prostitution from July 17 to Dec. 12. The charges Taylor faces are misdemeanors.
A co-defendant, Yingli Chang, is also charged with one count of prostitution and keeping a place of prostitution. Chang is also accused of performing an illegal sex act at Far East Massage some time between 3:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Dec. 12. Another woman, Zhijing Chen, is also charged with one count of prostitution for also performing an illicit act at the same location during the same time frame on the same day.

Chen and Chang were released from jail with a $1,000 and $2,000 bonds, respectively. They are scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 6, 2019, in Cherokee County State Court. No bond has been set for Taylor.
Cpl. Joshua Watkins with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said no other details will be released, as the case is part of an ongoing federal investigation.
