ACWORTH, GA — The Cherokee Sheriff's Office has issued arrest warrants for a 19-year-old man accused of stealing from vehicles in the Acworth area late last month.
Demone Ontray Allen is suspected of entering at the vehicles of two victims Aug. 30 in the Centennial Lakes subdivision and taking items such as a laptop, credit cards and a firearm, sheriff's office spokesperson Jay Baker said.
Detectives have learned those stolen credit cards were used at establishments in Kennesaw and at shops in Atlantic Station. On Friday, Aug. 31, Allen was arrested and charged by Atlanta police following a chase of a stolen vehicle. That vehicle, Backer added, included several items stolen from victims in Cherokee County.
