  1. The second concert in The Brown Bag Concert Series is today, and this time around, it'll be Mark Miller playing from the Gazebo in the Park at City Center. The live, acoustic performance starts at noon and will run for about an hour. Pack your lunch, grab a blanket or folding chair and enjoy the music. Trevor Startt will be performing next Thursday, and the last show in the series is on May 25 with Serpent & Dove. (Woodstock Parks and Recreation)
  2. The Summer Concert Series always brings in huge crowds, and parking spots can be pretty hard to find. We do have another alternative, though. Downtown Woodstock has free shuttles for Saturday's show, and not having to worry about parking can make it much easier to enjoy the evening. Craig Morgan and Leah Belle Faser will be performing at the Amphitheater on Saturday, the free show starts at 7:30 p.m. You can find more information about parking and shuttles here, including a great map of pick-up spots and street parking. (Downtown Woodstock via Facebook)
  3. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is searching for two stolen items today, a trailer and an ATV. A 2008 Carry on 5x10 Utility Trailer with GA tag TL3N083 was taken from the Water Lake Subdivision near Vaughn Road, sometime between the afternoon on May 9 and the morning on May 10. It is a black, metal trailer. If you have any information, please contact the sheriff at 678-493-4080 or 911. A Polaris Sportsman 700 ATV was stolen from Bells Ferry Road near Crabapple Drive, sometime between the evening on May 5 and the morning on May 9. If you have any information on this one, please call 770-928-0239 or 911. (Cherokee Sheriff's Office via Facebook)
  4. If you're looking for something to do this weekend, The Mill on Etowah is holding the Upriver Festival and 5K. The May 13 event benefits Goshen Valley, and will feature vendors, the 5K, a kids' corner with fun for the whole family and live music from Kurt Wheeler, Chad Patterson, Ansley Fain, Cody Bolden and Bent to Fly. The Mill on Etowah is located at 225 Reformation Parkway in Canton, and the 5K marks the start of the festival at 4 p.m. You can sign up for the 5K here. (Reformation Brewery via Facebook)
