Here are the top stories in Woodstock-Towne Lake today:
- The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is asking us to keep an eye out for a missing man. Riley Shaw, 26, was last seen on May 1 at his home near West Oaks Drive and Hames Road. His vehicle was last seen on May 4 at 8:49 a.m. on Highway 92, going towards Acworth. The vehicle, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat, and a picture of Shaw can be seen at the link. The missing man is described as white, 6-foot-3 inches tall and 190 pounds. If you have any information on this case, please contact the sheriff at 770-928-0239 or 911. - Spring is in full swing, and Cherokee County is bursting at the seams with music, fairs and festivals! We've got the Brown Bag Concert Series, Unwind Wednesdays and this week, the Woodstock Summer Concert Series kicks off with Craig Morgan and Leah Belle Faser playing live at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater. If you're new to the area, the seating for this free concert series is a bit unique. Please see the link for detailed information, but you may set place your lawn, beach or bag chairs on the grass as early as 6 a.m. on the day before the concert to save your spot, but you can't bring blankets, tarps, plastic, towels or anything that anchors in the ground. Get there early and stake your claim, the next show will be on June 10 with Rick Springfield and Rosey. (Woodstock Concert Series)
- The next in the SKILLS series from Woodstock Parks and Recreation is coming up on June 8. These classes are amazing and span a whole range of topics. This next one is "SKILLS - Automotive" and it will teach ways to get out of automotive jams like jump starting a dead battery, changing the tires, checking tire pressure and more. The class is for everyone, and for all skill levels, you can sign up here. The class will be held at the William G. Long Senior Center, located at 223 Arnold Mill Road. - Spring Art on The Green is coming back to The Green downtown this weekend. The outdoor arts and crafts fair is perfectly timed for a great Mother's Day outing with your favorite mom. The two-day event will feature food, live music and shopping with treasures on display like paintings, photography, jewelry and more. Enjoy the day and support your local artists, The Green is located at 111 Elm St. The market is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. (Visit Woodstock)
- The Outlet Shoppes are holding a Mother's Day Weekend Celebration on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. There will be live music with Ashley Carson and giveaways to enjoy. The Outlet Shoppes are located at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway. (Visit Woodstock)

- Tuesday and Thursday: +55 Trail Walkers - for those 55 and up that can walk a minimum of one mile on a paved trail. Head out to socialize and get some exercise every Tuesday and Thursday, the walking will alternate between the Noonday Creek, Rubes Creek, Towne Lake Pass and Trestle Rock trails. (9 - 10 a.m.)
- Tuesday and Thursday: Big Stage Yoga - for ages 16 and up and all skill levels, though children under 16 may attend with a consenting adult. The class led by Amy Kenny will meet on the Amphitheater stage downtown every Tuesday and Thursday in May. (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.)
