• Former Gamecocks football coach dies at age 88 (postandcourier.com) — A longtime college football coach, Richard Bell, passed away Saturday at age 88 at an assisted living facility in Woodstock. Bell spent 55 years coaching, including a season as South Carolina’s head coach and many years as a respected defensive coordinator across major programs.

• Fulton County approves $15.8 million for behavioral health (roughdraftatlanta.com) — Fulton County has renewed $15.8 million in behavioral health contracts, including $400,000 for Georgia Hope based in Woodstock to serve more than 400 young patients. The funding will support school-based and community mental health services for over 7,000 people across the county through 2026.
