Speak Out: Worst Summer Job

Patch wants to know what you remember most about those hot summer days.

I was 18 and working in a high-end gift shop with Lynda. Lynda was at least 300 pounds, stinking rich and referred to me as "the girl." For an entire summer, I cleaned the millions of knick knacks, wrapped presents for baby showers and hid from the wrath of Lynda. What's worse is that I was 'Bama bound and she was an Auburn grad.

I hated it, but I made some lasting friendships.
