Taste Of Woodstock Breaks Ticket Sales Record

A record-breaking fifty thousand tickets were sold at the 2022 event.

Thousands of hungry event goers enjoyed tastes from eighteen Woodstock restaurants at Taste of Woodstock on Thursday, September 15th at the Woodstock Arts Event Green in Downtown Woodstock. A record-breaking fifty thousand tickets were sold at the 2022 event.

Visit Woodstock GA produces Taste of Woodstock to highlight Woodstock's authentic and diverse food scene. The event raises money for the Woodstock High School Marching Band Program. This year, Visit Woodstock GA was able to present WHS Marching Band with a check for $10,000.

Judges evaluated the many tastes according criteria such as presentation and flavor. The Best Appetizer Award went to Roberto’s and Prime 120. Best Entrée was awarded to Freight Kitchen and Tap. Eden won Best Dessert. Event attendees voted for their favorite of all of the tastes. The People’s Choice Award went to Queenie's BBQ.

The event was presented by Chrysler, Dodge Jeep, Ram Woodstock. Other sponsors included Southern Phoenix Services, Guide to 575, School of Rock Woodstock, and the Highlight Reel. Performances included the Woodstock Wolverine Band, Stephanie Berlanga, and 90210 Radio.
