What Brings You to Downtown?

is conducting a survey to help with next year’s planning of events, programs and to just collect overall thoughts of downtown. The questions ask about your favorite aspects of downtown, where you have visited, what media you read (Patch, of course) and what you would like to see in the future.

You have the option of checking as many boxes as you want, and I found myself going check crazy. I thought I should restrain myself for data purposes, but then again, I honestly do love all the changes that have been made downtown, and I would appreciate all the suggested future plans, as well.

In the short time I have been here, coming up on a year in less than a month, I have witnessed a plethora of changes on this one stretch of road. The took place adding much-needed parking, streetlights and sidewalks. While a few businesses struggled and closed their doors, and more are on the way. The stepped up taking on projects to make the downtown more aesthetically pleasing. New events have complimented the existing ones to make this City a stopping point on the map.
