The Woodstock, GA Lions Club Food Drive for Local Pantries.

Just a reminder everyone. You can drop off your donations this weekend, both Saturday & Sunday, at our Woodstock Lions Club Pickleball Jamboree being held at Dupree Park, Woodstock.

The Woodstock, GA Lions Club Service Committee is facilitating a Food Drive to support the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church & Never Alone Food Pantry’s, both located in Woodstock, GA. Normally the pantry’s purchase food items from the Atlanta Community Food Bank at significant savings. $1.00 will buy 3 meals. Unfortunately, the Atlanta Community Food Bank is not getting their normal supply of discounted items from food manufactures. As a result, both pantries are facing massive shortages of the following items.

Donation Items needed:

Boxes of Mac-n-Cheese

Dry Pastas

Breakfast Cereals

Canned Vegetables

Canned Spaghetti

Drop Off Locations:

Vacuums Etc., Inc., located at 9801 Hwy 92 Suite 120, Woodstock, GA 30188

Vacuums Etc. will have a drop-off bin for the whole month of October.

OR

The Woodstock Lions Club Pickleball Jamboree on Saturday and Sunday, October 26th & 27th. (Rain date is November 9th & 10th). The Pickleball Jamboree is taking place at Dupree Park located at 513 Neese Rd, Woodstock, GA 30188

(Jamboree Pickleball Players that bring donations will receive ONE FREE RAFFLE TICKET! Raffle prizes are all Pickleball equipment items).

Attached is the Donation Flyer. Please get this flyer out to everyone you know in the Cherokee County Community. Family, Neighbors, Church Members, Workmates, Homeowner Association Websites, Community Bulletin Boards, etc.
