City investigating Nuuanu Stream sewage discharge (staradvertiser.com) — City crews are investigating and repairing a broken sewer line that sent an undetermined amount of wastewater into Nuuanu Stream and toward Honolulu Harbor, prompting health officials to warn people to stay out of the water. Temporary plugs have now stopped the flow, warning signs remain posted near the harbor, and water quality testing is underway while the cause of the failure is still under review.
