• Boys & Girls Club of Canyon County opens new Teen Center in Nampa (kivitv.com) — Nampa teens now have a dedicated after-school Teen Center at Centennial Elementary, run by the Boys & Girls Club of Nampa and open most weekdays with extended Friday hours. The café-style space offers games, STEM activities, homework help, and fitness programs, aiming to keep local youth safe, active, and connected thanks to support from Panda Cares and Nampa Rotary. 
• Miller adds technology, new crops while keeping what works (capitalpress.com) — A young Nampa farm manager is modernizing Miller Farms with a spray drone, experimental water-treatment technology, and a shifting crop mix while still honoring his family’s long-time practices. From seed beans and sweet corn seed to mint and wheat, he’s testing what pays best and uses water wisely as he prepares to eventually take over the 1,000-acre operation.
• Linden Street, Ward Road intersection in Caldwell to close Jan. 5 for roundabout construction (kivitv.com) — Drivers from Nampa heading into Caldwell should plan for major changes at Linden Street and Ward Road, where a new roundabout project will fully close and partially reopen the intersection in phases starting January 5. Expect detours, a temporary bypass connection between Linden and Ward, and a full closure again in early spring as crews finish the roundabout by 2026.
