Bannock County residents asked to report wind storm damage (eastidahonews.com) — Bannock County’s Office of Emergency Management in Pocatello is asking residents to report any property damage from last week’s severe wind storms using the new Bannock County Public Safety App. Your reports will help officials assess impacts, plan future mitigation projects, and improve emergency response across the county, so downloading the app and documenting damage can directly strengthen local preparedness.

A Secret Santa surprise for a foster mom and veteran who has spent years putting kids first (eastidahonews.com) — A Pocatello foster mom and Coast Guard veteran who has spent years driving her foster children between Pocatello and Blackfoot to keep their schooling stable just received a major Secret Santa surprise. After sacrificing her nursing career and wearing out her vehicle to prioritize the kids’ needs, she was recognized with a generous holiday gift that aims to ease her financial strain.
   

4. Attorney General Labrador's ICAC Investigators Arrest Man in Idaho Falls for Child Enticement - Idaho Office of Attorney General (idaho.gov) — Pocatello Police Department joined several eastern Idaho agencies in helping the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrest a man in Idaho Falls on child enticement charges. Attorney General Raúl Labrador praised the cooperation among Pocatello, Madison County, Idaho Falls and Bonneville County officers, and encouraged anyone with information about online child exploitation to contact local police or the ICAC tip lines.
