6 Busted In Sting After Seeking Sex With Minors: Police

Their charges include indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a minor, solicitation to meet a child and grooming, police said.

TROY, IL — Six men were arrested and charged last week during a two-day anti-human trafficking operation in the downstate Troy area focused on finding people seeking to engage in sex acts with minors, according to police.

The operation was led by the state police Trafficking Enforcement Bureau and took place Wednesday and Thursday, authorities said.

Taken into custody were: Brian P. Tilson, 43, of Highland; Justin A. Kuehnel, 41, of Glen Carbon; Kyle T. Altevogt, 30, of Panama; Gregory L. Robinson, 34, of Fairview Heights; James A. Walker, 40, of Effingham; and Ulises Mendieta-Galindo, 36, of O’Fallon, according to police.
