80-Degree Temps, Storm Chances On And Off Throughout The Week For IL

Monday has a high of 72 degrees, and warmer temperatures will continue through the rest of the week.

ILLINOIS — Flood advisories are kicking off the week in parts of the Chicago area as over an inch of rain has fallen in some areas, according to the National Weather Service.

Cook, DuPage and Will counties have seen between a half-inch and 1.5 inches of rain overnight into Monday, the weather service said. The advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Monday.

The rain will end by mid-to-late morning on Monday, according to the weather service. There could be some showers into the afternoon as a cold front moves through.

Temps will be 75 on Tuesday, 80 on Wednesday, 83 on Thursday and 74 on Friday, according to the weather service.

In addition to the warmer temps, showers and storm chances will also continue through the rest of the week. There are chances of storms on Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday, and Friday.
