The shop run by the Smashing Pumpkins frontman and his wife was damaged, and his mother-in-law was hurt, his wife wrote. The couple's child was in the tearoom but was not hurt.

Owner Debuts Scene75 Renovations, New Attractions
The renovation, which began early this year, includes a brand new, 15,000-square-foot, Slide Zone entertainment complex featuring three mega-slides: Turbo Racer, a four-lane slide that allows you to race four at a time; Half Pipe, that allows you to race down a steep drop into an actual half pipe, and Mega-Launch, a steep sliding experience.

The highly anticipated cookie shop opened last week, the owner said. "We had a line out the door, around the parking lot. Way more than I expected. It was pretty cool. I almost felt like a celebrity."

"Come and get our smoked meats and sides while you can," the owners said. "Once we sell out, that is it, folks. We are deeply saddened and devastated to close."
Walgreens Agrees To Pay $100M To Settle Overcharging Lawsuit
The Illinois-based company fraudulently overcharged customers when they bought generic drugs through private insurance, Medicare/Medicaid. Walgreens was accused of wrongly requiring insured customers to pay more than members of its Prescription Savings Club.
Eatery Reopens After 8-Day Closure
The restaurant was forced to close after a pipe burst in the building, owners said. "I would like to sincerely say, I truly apologize for any reservations that we had to cancel, phone calls that were missed, or disappointment as a walk-in customer," the owner said, calling it a "very challenging week."

Bowling, Event Space Opens Soon In Iconic Location
The Loft is set to offer an event space, full menu, live entertainment and a second-floor, six-lane novelty bowling alley. The original space opened in 1949.
