Flurries Possible Friday; Cold Continues Through The Weekend For IL
Single-digit wind chills are possible Saturday and Sunday mornings, the weather service said.
ILLINOIS — Snow flurries are possible Friday, as wintry temperatures are expected through early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
The high for Friday will be 28, 30 on Saturday, 30 on Sunday, 32 on Monday and 31 on Tuesday.
The weather service said lingering snow flurries are possible Friday morning, and will taper off Friday afternoon as winds up to 30 mph are possible.

Not only will it be cold during the day, with wind chills as low as 10 degrees, but wind chills at night could be as low as -5 on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night, according to the weather service.
Besides Friday's flurries, no snow or rain is expected through the weekend.
