ILLINOIS — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

Before we jump into the Chicago area's top stories, after a hot, summer-like Sunday, Illinois could see storms on Monday, with the best chance south of I-80.

After temperatures in the mid-80s, highs on Monday will range from the lower 60s across northern Illinois to the middle 70s across central Illinois, according to the National Weather Service.

Dry weather is expected on Tuesday, with more storm chances coming on Thursday night.

Nearly a week after a dust storm caused blackout conditions along I-55 in central Illinois, leading to a series of crashes that left seven people dead, another dust storm warning was issued for parts of Central Illinois on Sunday night.

Fire Destroys Oak Forest Bowl, Iconic Business 'A Total Loss'

An early morning fire consumed a beloved local business in Oak Forest on Saturday. Oak Forest Bowl, a staple of the community for decades, was destroyed by a fast-moving fire that may have started in an outdoor area but quickly spread to the building. Employees who were in the building when the blaze broke out were able to escape without injury, but the bowling alley was a total loss.

2 More Victims Of I-55 Dust Storm Crashes ID'd

Illinois State Police have now released the names of six of the seven people killed in a series of crashes along I-55 during a dust storm on Monday, including two Crystal Lake residents.

On Saturday, state police identified two of the victims as Joseph Bates, 73, and Donna Bates, 71, both of Crystal Lake.

Other victims who have been identified include Michael Zinchuk, 55, and Amy Zinchuk, 54, of Champaign; 88-year-old Shirley Harper of Franklin, Wisconsin; and 64-year-old Earl LeGrand of Florissant, Missouri. State police have yet to positively identify the seventh victim.

A Chicago police officer is dead after she was fatally shot Saturday morning near her home following her shift.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified her as 24-year-old Areanah Preston.

Man Dies After Being Struck By Train

A 49-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a train in Geneva Friday night.

Police said three men had gone underneath the guardrail arm to cross the tracks to reach their car. Two of the men made it across, but a Yorkville man was hit by an eastbound freight train and killed.

Vanished: Joliet Police Need Your Help Finding Man, 24

Jason Bingham Jr., 24, was last seen wearing red and black checkered pajama pants and a White Sox jacket, police said.
