IL 9-Year-Old's Free Compliment Stand Brings Positivity To Neighborhood
Ethan Wargo spent his summer brightening the days of people passing through his neighborhood, The Washington Post reported.
SYCAMORE, IL — A Sycamore 9-year-old spent his summer offering up kind words with his free compliment stand, according to The Washington Post.
Ethan Wargo had a compliment for anyone who stopped by, spending as many as five hours per day at a table with a handwritten “free compliments” sign alongside his twin, Claire, who sold her artwork, the Post reported.
“I didn’t want people to pay to be happy,” he told the Post. “Paying for something like that is very silly.”
