Saturday's Powerball $1.787 billion jackpot was the third-largest jackpot in the game's history. Two people, from Missouri and Texas, matched all six numbers.

The roll began on June 2, with more than 1.7 million tickets sold since. Illinois Lottery players have won almost $20 million in prizes.

Each ticket sold is also a win for retailers, who earn a selling bonus of 1 percent of the prize amount on any winning tickets.

The next Powerball drawing is worth $20 million, with a cash value of $9.2 million, and will take place Monday at 9:59 p.m. Central Time. Tickets — costing $2 each — must be purchased by 9 p.m. that day to be considered, according to the Illinois Lottery. For an additional $1 per ticket, players can add the Power Play for a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes.
