Illinois Resident Matches Five Numbers In Lucky Day Lotto, Wins $350K
The winner hit the jackpot in an online play in Tuesday night's drawing and now has a year to step forward and claim their winnings.
ILLINOIS — A lucky Illinois resident looking to strike it rich without leaving their computer, phone or tablet managed to match five numbers in the Lucky Day Lotto Tuesday night to claim a $350,000 prize, lottery officials announced on Wednesday.
Because the win took place online, a spokeswoman for the Illinois Lottery told Patch on Wednesday that the winner and their whereabouts won’t be determined until they come forward to claim the prize.
The winning numbers in Tuesday’s drawing were 6, 12, 19, 37 and 42.

Lottery officials said that more than 16,000 tickets were sold for Tuesday night’s drawing, which paid out an estimated $400,000 in prizes, including the Grand Prize winner.
Winners have a year from the time of the winning draw to claim their prizes. The Lucky Day Lotto is drawn twice a day, seven days a week.
