July 4 Fireworks Guide 2023: Where To See Them In Illinois

ILLINOIS — It's time for local July 4 celebrations, as communities across the state prepare for parades, picnics and Independence Day fireworks.

The Fourth of July falls on a Tuesday this year, and while most events take place on July 4, several fireworks displays, parades and more will be held as early as June 30.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS

JUNE 30 - JULY 4: Frontier Days Festival. “Five days of fun” including live music, a carnival food and more.

BARTLETT

JUNE 30 to July 4: Fourth of July Festival. The five-day event includes a parade on July 2.

JULY 4: Fireworks. The annual “extravaganza” returns.

BERWYN

JULY 3: “Light Up the Night” Fireworks. Held after sunset.
