She had been accused of stabbing a 1-year-old girl and a 4-year-old girl in November 2023. A psychiatrist who evaluated her said she stabbed the children after having an auditory hallucination.

The person who claimed to be Reyes walked with the victim down the street, and three other people pulled up in s stolen Dodge Charger, police say. The trio pointed guns at the victim's groin, head and back, then stole jewelry, a phone and car keys, while telling the victim "don’t f***ing move," according to police.
