Man Pleads Guilty To Involuntary Servitude Of Women

During 2020 and 2021, prosecutors say men paid him for sexual acts from women who were "under the defendant's control," and that he used illegal drugs, threats and force to force the women — all over the age of 18 — into providing sexual acts.

Coroner IDs Man, 37, Fatally Crushed By Vehicle

The man was underneath a vehicle, which was elevated roughly five feet off the ground on a lift when the rear of the vehicle came off of the lift, police said. The vehicle fell on top of him and trapped the man underneath.

The fatal shooting was one of two shootings that happened hours after the city's tree lighting, the official kickoff to the holiday season. Eight other people, all teenagers, were wounded in the pair of shootings.
