Yolanda Howell was last seen on Oct. 8 leaving her home on foot, authorities said. Her family had organized a search for her on Saturday.

The man was found with a gunshot wound just before 2:30 a.m. Police said he refused to give them any information.

Bar Shooting Arrest: Man Charged In Shooting That Wounded 3
Police said a 29-year-old man sustained three gunshot wounds to his lower body, a 31-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to her right ankle, and a 25-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg. Over the weekend, a man was arrested in connection to the crime.

Word of mouth quickly spread about the “wonderful woman” in Congressman Lipinski’s office who helped veterans. “Not only did she handle veteran affairs in my office, but for other veterans outside the district because they heard about the good job she did.
